Honorary Kazakh Consulate continues its activities in Karcag
Mr. László Horváth has been appointed as honorary consul by Péter Szijjártó Minister of Foreign Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the 22nd of November 2019. The appointment documentation was handed over by Zhanibek Abdrashov Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Hungary. The document stated that the Minister of Foreign Affairs approves the appointment of the honorary consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan based in Karcag and consents to his consular activities in the counties of Bács-Kiskun, Békés, Csongrád, Hajdú-Bihar, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Pest and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg. The new Ambassador expressed his intention to intensify the economic, political and cultural ties between the Embassy and the Honorary Consulate. He emphasised the need to revive traditions and tighten personal relationships between the organisations. Consequently, in the following weeks the Ambassador is planning to pay a visit to the office in Karcag where he will meet the members of ’Kunszövetség’. In addition, a B2B round table discussion will be held in December organised with the help of Mr. László Horváth and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Ambassador is also planning to hold a Nauriz festival in Karcag with the Honorary Consulate to renew this tradition. Mr. László Horváth presented a Hungarian grey cattle horn to the Ambassador as a token of his honor and intent to cooperate.
