The 7th meeting of the Hungarian-Kazakh Intergovernmental Committee for Economic Cooperation took place with the participation of László Horváth, the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan
Organized by Mihály Varga the Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister of Hungary, and Ruslan Dalenov, the Minister of National Economy and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the 7th meeting of the Hungarian-Kazakh Intergovernmental Committee for Economic Cooperation took place online on 27 November 2020.
László Horváth, the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan, also took part in the meeting. In his speech, Mr. Horváth emphasized that he always felt it was his important mission to open up to the East and strengthen diplomatic relations. “Nor can the COVID-19 virus stop me from pursuing this mission to the best of my ability in the circumstances. I am confident that today's meeting will be successful in reviving the recent period and deepening our Hungarian-Kazakh relations in trade, economic and cultural areas as well.” – He mentioned.
The Honorary Consul emphasized that the number of areas (mainly agricultural and rail freight) were being prepared for serious work to strengthen business relations between the two countries.
The day before the meeting, László Horváth had an unusual meeting with Mr. Jambulat Sarsenov, Kazakh Co-Chair of the Business Council, about next year's and longer-term opportunities between the two countries.
